Dr Ehsan Mellati

Specialist Periodontist & Implant Surgeon

Highly regarded for his extensive expertise in managing complex periodontal conditions, dental implant placement, and advanced gum procedures, Dr Mellati has become a trusted authority in the field. With a strong academic background and years of clinical experience, he is known for delivering exceptional, evidence-based periodontal care.

Dr Mellati is an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the University of Sydney. He is actively involved in teaching and mentorship across several Periodontics and Dental Implant–related graduate programs. His commitment to education extends to presenting lectures, running CPD events, and teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as overseas-trained dentists.

Dr Mellati has received the prestigious ITI grant for his postgraduate thesis, which focused on the healing of hard and soft tissues around immediate implants. He has published several articles in well-respected international journals, contributing to the advancement of periodontal and implant research.

Active membership in the International Team for Implantology, the Australian Dental Association, the Australian Society of Periodontology, and the Australian and New Zealand Academy of Periodontists reflects his ongoing commitment to professional excellence and collaboration.

Dr Wesley Wong

Isean Chew

Oral Health Therapist

Isean has been a part of Precision Periodontics since 2020 and works alongside the specialist team. She has a keen interest in periodontics and an extensive background in general dentistry, orthodontics, and prosthodontics. Isean supports patients through non-surgical care and ongoing supportive periodontal maintenance, helping them maintain healthy gums and teeth through personalised, detailed instructions and routine professional care.

Known for her bubbly and warm personality, Isean combines a gentle, meticulous touch with a friendly and approachable manner, ensuring patients feel comfortable and supported throughout their visits.
